Temperature Calibration Equipment

Dry Block Calibrators · Liquid Baths · Industrial & Lab Grade

Indeecon manufactures temperature calibration equipment for industrial process validation, pharmaceutical qualification, and metrology labs — dry block calibrators from −40°C to 1200°C and liquid calibration baths for applications requiring fluid-immersion accuracy and multi-probe comparison.

  • Dry block calibrators from −40°C to 1200°C — portable, bench, and industrial configurations
  • Liquid calibration baths for high-uniformity applications and simultaneous multi-probe comparison
  • NABL-aligned calibration services and IQ/OQ documentation available on request

Equipment Types

Two Instrument Families — Different Mechanisms, Overlapping Applications

Dry Block Calibrators

Heat a precision metal insert to a set temperature. Sensor probes insert into drilled holes in the insert. Fast stabilisation, portable, suitable for field use and single-probe checks.

−40°C to 1200°C

Liquid Calibration Baths

Immerse probes in a circulating temperature-controlled fluid. Fluid provides radial uniformity that metal inserts cannot match — ideal for multi-probe comparison and high-accuracy lab work.

−80°C to 270°C (fluid-dependent)

Applications

Industries That Rely on Traceable Temperature Calibration

Pharmaceutical

IQ/OQ/PQ validation of autoclaves, stability chambers, incubators, and process temperature sensors per EU GMP and 21 CFR Part 11.

Automotive

Sensor calibration for engine management, EV battery thermal systems, and test equipment traceable to IATF 16949 / AEC-Q requirements.

Food & Beverage

Process temperature sensor calibration for pasteurisation, cold-chain monitoring, and retort operations per FSMA and FSSAI.

Electronics & Semiconductor

Thermocouple and RTD calibration for reflow ovens, burn-in chambers, and thermal test equipment per IPC standards.

Calibration Laboratories

Reference and working standard calibration for NABL-accredited labs — supports the traceability chain from NMI to field instrument.

Industrial Process

Control loop sensor calibration for furnaces, ovens, reactors, and HVAC systems in continuous-process manufacturing.

Selection Guide

Key Factors When Selecting Calibration Equipment

Temperature Range

Match the calibrator range to the operating range of the sensors you calibrate — with 10–20% headroom. Sub-zero applications require dedicated negative-range instruments.

Stability & Uniformity

Field checks can tolerate ±0.5°C stability; pharmaceutical IQ/OQ typically requires ±0.1°C or better. Liquid baths outperform dry blocks on uniformity.

Portability vs. Bench Use

Portable dry blocks suit field service. Liquid baths and bench dry blocks suit permanent lab setups. Do not specify a liquid bath for field use.

Traceability Requirement

Regulated industries (pharma, medical device, defence) require NABL-calibrated instruments with documented uncertainty. Specify this at time of purchase.

Number of Probes

Single-probe: dry block is efficient. Multi-probe comparison (2–8 sensors simultaneously): liquid bath is strongly preferred for uniformity and throughput.
